Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a dedicated Cook for the Food Service team. Under supervision, you will prepare, season and cook food for patients, staff and visitors, while following proper food safety and cleaning procedures.
This full-time position in the evenings offers growth within Mercy's Nutritional Services. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 90 days of hospital food service experience.
Under the direct supervision of the Nutritional Services Coordinator/Supervisor, the cook will prepare, season and cook food for hospital patients, staff and visitors. Follows correct food preparation and handling procedures. Performs a variety of cleaning duties.
