Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals according to standardized recipes and menus, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment.

You will follow dietary modifications, record production quantities and temperatures, stock and rotate food, and support dishwashing and dining service. The role includes leadership in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator and offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen and ability to follow standardized recipes.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work as part of a dining service team.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

Pay Range: 19.65 - 24.60
