Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in River Forest, IL is seeking a Cook to prepare meals per standardized recipes and menus, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation align with Sunrise standards. You will follow dietary modifications, record production quantities and temperatures, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen while complying with safety regulations.

The role supports dining services and may lead production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
