Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals for residents, adhering to standardized recipes and dietary requirements. You will ensure food safety, maintain a clean kitchen, and assist in dishwashing and dining service as needed.

With opportunities to lead in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator, the role emphasizes creating an enjoyable dining experience while upholding safety standards for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing meals to meet menus and dietary needs.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to record production quantities and food safety temperatures.

• Prepare and serve meals according to recipes and menus.
• Ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements.
• Record production quantities and temperatures for food safety.
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations.
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas.
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports.
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed.
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator.

Pay Range: 18.50 - 23.25
