Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals that align with standardized recipes and menus, while ensuring safety, quality, and presentation for residents in a supportive living environment.

The role involves following dietary modifications, maintaining a clean kitchen, and recording production quantities and temperatures. The position may include leading production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator and supporting dining service operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator

Pay Range:

17.10 - 21.40
