Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook in Pasadena, MD to prepare high-quality meals for residents, following standardized recipes and dietary requirements, while keeping the kitchen safe and organized.

You will handle production quantities, temperatures, stock and rotate food, support dishwashing and dining service, and may lead production in absence of coordinator. Sunrise offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
