Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Anderson, IN is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve high-quality meals for residents, following established safety and sanitation standards to support a positive dining experience. You will assist the Food Service Manager with inventory, set up service stations, supervise dietary staff when needed, and use technology to manage orders and ensure waste is minimized.

A High School Diploma or GED/HSE and 1–2 years of cooking experience are preferred; Trilogy offers Thrive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1–2 years cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines.
• Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies.
• Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable.
• Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed.
• Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
• Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families.
