Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served.
• Ensure sanitation levels in storage and preparation areas meet requirements.
• Bake breads and pastry; cut meat.
• Plan menus using seasonal and locally available foods.
• Order supplies and maintain records and inventories.
• Direct activities of clients assisting in meal prep and service.
• Complete Cook Worksheet and Substitution Log.
• Supervise and direct work of clients in the food service operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
