Job summary

Beyond Catering is hiring a Cook to prepare high-quality food to Buona standards while keeping a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order by following provided recipes and maintain the required quality across multiple kitchen stations.

Responsibilities include learning roles in Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep, following recipes, portion control, restocking, and meeting health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Must maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep positions.
• Follow recipes and proper food preparation processes: cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing.
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare food that meets Buona standards and quality.
• Ensure all food is prepared correctly before serving to guests.
• Restock the food line as needed.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food preparation, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling guest orders (dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru).
• Handle raw and finished waste according to procedures.
• Wash cookware and utensils; clean equipment as assigned; sanitize as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
