Job summary

Beyond Catering is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals according to provided recipes while keeping a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order and uphold our standard.

Responsibilities include learning lines like Beef, Pizza and Prep, following recipes, portion control, restocking, and maintaining health and safety standards. Requires a Food Handler certificate and ability to stand long hours.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Must work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes properly such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing
• Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line
• Prepare quality food that meets our Buona standards
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests
• Restock food line
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders
• Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures
• Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru
• Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed
• Other duties as assigned
