Hilton in San Diego is hiring a Cook to prepare high-quality dishes and deliver exceptional hospitality. This full-time role involves executing recipes, managing guest orders, and maintaining standards of food safety and presentation.

You’ll work with a team to master advanced techniques, keep stations clean, and support training while upholding Hilton’s values of integrity, teamwork, and care for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
• Manage guest orders efficiently while ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintain a strong knowledge of advanced cooking techniques (e.g., sauces, roasting, grilling, plating) and work a station independently as needed
• Inspect all preparations and dishes ahead of serving to ensure quality and presentation standards
• Keep food service stations stocked and sanitary while following proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols
• Manage multiple tickets/orders at once, assist with training, and step in for minor supervisory duties as needed
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring guest and team member well-being
