Job summary

Island Hospitality Management is seeking a Cook to join our hotel kitchen in the United States. You will showcase culinary skills through high standards of quality in presentation, preparation, and cooking.

Responsibilities include following brand and IHM recipes, plating menu items, receiving orders as needed, keeping the kitchen stocked, and maintaining hygiene and safety throughout service.

Qualifications

• Follow brand and IHM SOPs to prepare food and beverage items.
• Be a highly motivated team player with initiative and achievement.
• Ability to handle problems in the workplace proactively and effectively.
• Work well in stressful situations and maintain composure.
• Basic knowledge of operating Food and Beverage equipment (ovens, stoves, microwaves).

Responsibilities

• Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking to serve guests.
• Prepare and plate all food items on the menu.
• Receive food and beverage orders as needed.
• Ensure the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, countertops, and floors after service.
