Island Hospitality Management is seeking an AM Cook to elevate guest experiences through quality in presentation, preparation, and cooking. Morning availability is requested and the role emphasizes adherence to brand standards and safety protocols across a dynamic hotel kitchen.

The position involves following recipes, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely, high-quality plate presentation for guests.

Qualifications

• Follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items.
• Highly motivated team player with initiative and achievement drive.
• Effective problem-solving skills in the workplace; anticipate, prevent, identify and solve problems as necessary.
• Ability to work well in stressful situations.
• Basic knowledge of operating all Food and Beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel.
• Ensure the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times.
• Receive food and beverage orders as needed.
• Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking food to serve guests.
• Prepare and plate all food items on the menu.
• Use hot food preparation machines such as ovens, stoves, and microwaves to cook or heat food.
• Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and floors after each service.

Job Requirements
