Job summary

The Birches at New Hope is seeking full-time culinary staff to prepare meals for our senior community in New Hope, PA. You will work with top-of-the-line culinary equipment in a safe, clean kitchen and be supported by an industry-leading organization focused on quality service, dignity, and respect.

Responsibilities include preparing meals to safety standards, menu planning assistance, and supporting special events. A high school diploma or GED is required, with ServSafe training available.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing culinary talents to cook healthy and great tasting menu items.
• Assisting in menu planning and the purchasing and ordering of food, supplies and equipment.
• Assisting in preparation of special meals, party menus and special event menus.
