Job summary

The Birches of Lehigh Valley in Easton, PA, is seeking a warm, skilled cook to prepare meals for our senior residents in a safe, clean kitchen.

You will contribute to menu planning, execute batch cooking with quality, and work with a supportive team to ensure nutritious, tasty dishes while adhering to safety standards. Weekend availability is required. This role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years experience in batch cooking.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals and menu items according to safety and cooking techniques.
• Utilize culinary talents to cook healthy and delicious items.
• Assist in menu planning and purchasing of food, supplies and equipment.
• Assist in preparation of special meals and event menus.

Job Responsibilities Include

• Preparing all meals and menu items according to proper safety and cooking techniques
• Utilizing your culinary talents to cook healthy and great tasting menu items
• Assisting in menu planning and the purchasing and ordering of food, supplies and equipment
• Assisting in preparation of special meals, party menus and special event menus

Qualifications:
