Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is hiring a Cook 2 at The Canyons Castle Pines to join the Food & Beverage Team, responsible for food preparation, cooking, and serving under the Kitchen Manager.

The role requires at least two years of cooking in a commercial kitchen, a current Food Handlers card, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends; offers medical/dental/life insurance after 60 days, PTO, 7 paid holidays, and 401(k) after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ cooking experience in commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work and master one kitchen station; accept responsibility for personal decisions and actions.
• Ensure superior standards of service meet the requirements of guests and employees.
• Proactive in exceeding guest satisfaction; respond to challenges from guests or employees.
• Follow cleaning schedule and checklist daily to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.
• Read and follow cooking instructions; prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles.
