Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Napa Valley is seeking a skilled Cook 2 to join the CAMPO Pool Restaurant and Banquet team. This intermediate-level role focuses on preparing all food items per guest orders while adhering to prestige standards in a fast, high-volume environment.

You will set up stations, manage mise en place for meals, and ensure proper handling of perishables. A strong knife skill and the ability to multitask are essential for success at this resort.

Qualifications

• High school education or culinary education preferred.
• Minimum two years background in restaurants or hotel restaurants preferred.
• Advanced knife skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consistent quality food and pastry items according to guest orders following recipe cards and production, portion, and presentation standards.
• Complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
• Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, ensuring not to over-prepare.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table and grill.
• Liaise between line-staff and kitchen management to ensure smooth operations.
