Job summary

Grand Hyatt Washington is seeking a Cook 2 – Intermediate Level to join our culinary team in downtown Washington, D.C. The role supports banquet and restaurant kitchen operations, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, between 5:00am and 11:30pm.

The position offers competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates have professional cooking experience and strong communication and kitchen skills, ready to work in a fast-paced hotel environment.

This intermediate level Cook position requires good communication and culinary skills. The desired candidate will have professional cooking experience, knowledge of cooking ingredients, and procedures. This person will have a critical role in our Banquet and/or Restaurant kitchen. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays, any time between 5:00am – 11:30pm.

The hourly rate for this position is $23.22, increasing to $26.08 after six months.
