Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is seeking a Cook 1 for the Remedy station to prepare items per guest orders with consistent quality, maintain mise en place, and support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in a fast-paced luxury kitchen. The role requires 3+ years of culinary experience, knife skills, and the ability to multitask.

Eligible applicants must lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours; English fluency and US work authorization are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years culinary or related work experience and intermediate culinary knowledge is expected; cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience is required.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.
• Must have working knowledge of computers.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food items to order on the line and starting items made ahead of time, making sure not beyond estimated needs.
• Responsible for operating, maintaining and properly cleaning kitchen equipment and tools.
• Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, manage inventory and stock as needed.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
