Job summary

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail is hiring a Cook II for the Employee Cafeteria. You will prepare, plate, and maintain high standards of food quality for staff meals, following Four Seasons standards with a focus on safety and professionalism.

You will collaborate with the Culinary team, manage mise en place, and assist in menu development while ensuring efficiency and guest-like service for employees. This role is full-time with flexible hours in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years culinary or related work experience; cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalent experience.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chefs in day-to-day operation of the Employee Cafeteria.
• Assist in creating and preparing menu items and specials.
• Assist with weekly inventory for the Employee Cafeteria.
• Check mise en place, pars and station set-up.
• Communicate with Sous Chefs and Executive Chef regarding menu items or shortages.
• Maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
