Job summary

Park Lane Post Acute in West Chester, PA, is seeking a PM Cook for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. The position offers an hourly pay range of $20.00-$24.00, with a PM shift and every other weekend schedule. You will prepare meals per menus and dietary needs, and ensure safety and quality in food handling.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare lunch and dinner meals following menus, standardized recipes, and portion guidelines

• Follow therapeutic diets and resident allergies and preferences

• Prepare texture-modified foods and thickened liquids following facility standards

• Maintain temperature logs and proper food storage, labeling, and dating

• Keep the kitchen clean and compliant with state, federal (CMS), and health department regulations

Requirements

• Prior cooking experience in a nursing home, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility is required

• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [50] lbs

• Must pass a Pennsylvania criminal background check, health screening, and TB test

• Reliable and able to work every other weekend and rotating holidays
