Job summary

Park Lane Post Acute in West Chester, PA, is seeking a PM Cook for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. The position offers an hourly pay range of $20.00-$24.00, with a PM shift and every other weekend schedule. You will prepare meals per menus and dietary needs, and ensure safety and quality in food handling.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a nursing home, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility is required.
• Follow menus, recipes, and dietary restrictions accurately.
• Able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lunch and dinner meals following menus, standardized recipes, and portion guidelines.
• Follow therapeutic diets and resident allergies and preferences.
• Prepare texture-modified foods and thickened liquids.
• Maintain temperature logs, proper storage, labeling and dating.
