Warsaw Meadows Care Center in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Cook to join our skilled nursing facility. You will assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting meals per menus and portion control, ensuring high-quality dining experiences for residents.

The role offers part-time hours (20+ hours weekly) with Day or Night shifts and every-other-weekend rotation. Experience in dining services and basic culinary skills are preferred, with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year dining services experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical setting preferred.
• Culinary school training preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all served food
• Plan food production to align with scheduled meal times
• Memorize, record, and follow menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portion sizes
• Follow standard recipes and accommodate special diet orders
• Safely and efficiently operate standard kitchen equipment

Warsaw Meadows Care Center is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, IN. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures, ensuring high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

Shift Availability

• Part-Time – 20+ hours per week

• Open availability required to work either Day or Night Shift

• Day Shift: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM

• Night Shift: 11:00 AM – 6:30 PM

• Every Other Weekend Required as part of the weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Prepare all served food

• Plan food production to align with scheduled meal times

• Memorize, record, and follow menu items, abbreviations, plate appearance, and portion sizes
