Job summary

Sierra View Country Club in Roseville, CA is seeking a Full-Time Cook to contribute to a positive guest experience while growing knowledge of golf club operations. Compensation: $21.00 -$23.00 per hour.

Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations. Essential duties include preparing quantities per forecast, maintaining sanitation, and coordinating with the chef on equipment, inventory, and storage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience.
• Experienced breakfast cook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sufficient quantities of food per production plan.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
• Alerts supervisor to equipment issues, shortages, or overages.
• Requisitions inventory and receives supplies for daily production.
• Ensures proper storage and rotation of food items.
• Work mornings starting at 6:00am on weekdays and weekends.
• Available to work holidays.

As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation : $21.00 -$23.00 per hour

General Purpose:
Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations, guest consumption and enjoyment.

Essential Duties:

• - Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance to production plan or forecast needs.
• - Utilizes whole food products eliminating any waste.
• - Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• - Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
• - Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production.
• - Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items.
• - Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• - Must be available to work mornings starting at 6:00am weekdays and weekends.
• - Must be available holidays.
• - Regular and reliable attendance.
• - Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• - Experienced breakfast Cook preferred.

Physical Demands:

• - Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, listens, tastes and smells.
• - Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms.
• - Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• - Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds (team lift).

Environment/Noise:

• - Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts.
• - Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather.
• - Noise level is moderate.

• - Food Safety and Sanitation Training
