Job summary

Buona is hiring a Cook to prepare food to Buona standards in a high-volume kitchen in Wisconsin. You will follow recipes, manage portions, and ensure quality on each plate.

The role requires the ability to work quickly, stand for long periods, and maintain a clean, sanitary workspace while assisting guests across dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru channels.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Must work to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Excellent communication and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing.
• Maintain appropriate portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is being made properly before being handed out to guests.
• Restock food line
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures.
• Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru.
• Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
