Job summary

Buona is seeking a Cook to prepare food to high-quality standards, maintain a clean workspace, and follow provided recipes. You will cook to order and uphold the Buona standard across dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru services.

Responsibilities include learning multiple stations, maintaining portions, restocking, and ensuring food safety. The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and a strong guest-focused service approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and positive attitude.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Must maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing.
• Maintain appropriate portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is being made properly before serving.
• Restock food line.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle raw and finished waste according to established procedures.
• Act with a sense of urgency with all guests, whether dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru.
• Washing cookware and utensils and cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Cleaning and sanitizing as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
