Job summary

Baymont Inn and Penny's Diner of Hearne, TX is seeking a Cook for part-time shifts in mornings, evenings, and nights. Join a team in a hospitality setting and help prepare meals for guests.

Responsibilities include banquet prep, restaurant orders, stocking, supervising dishwasher, keeping kitchen clean, breakfast production, and assisting Executive Chef and GM.

Qualifications

• Must have food handler's permit.
• Training in food preparation desirable.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all banquet items as specified by function sheets.
• Responsible for preparation of all food orders from restaurant.
• Ensures proper stocking line for menu items.
• Supervises dishwasher to ensure adequate utensils are available for guest needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen at all times.
• Production of breakfast.
• Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Education Requirements:

Minimum Experience/Skill Requirements:

• Must be able to work PM shift.

• Basic food preparation.

• One (1) year food preparation experience highly desirable.

• Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality.
