Job summary

Baymont Inn & Penny's Diner of Fremont, NE is seeking a Cook to prepare banquet items and restaurant orders, maintain a clean, fully stocked kitchen, and support the breakfast production line. The role reports to the Executive Chef and General Manager and requires reliable attendance and the ability to work PM shifts.

The position offers a pathway to growth within a growing hospitality group and values honesty, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have food handler's permit.
• Training in food preparation desirable
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all banquet items as specified by function sheets.
• Responsible for preparation of all food orders from restaurant.
• Ensures proper stocking line for menu items.
• Supervises dishwasher to ensure adequate utensils are available for guest needs.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen at all times.
• Production of breakfast.
• Performs other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• One (1) year food preparation experience highly desirable.

• Must be extremely dependable regarding attendance and punctuality.
