Tazikis Memphis LLC in Germantown, TN is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing a variety of dishes, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience, a passion for food quality, and ideally hold a ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification. Responsibilities include ensuring food safety standards and responding professionally to guest feedback.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe food-handling practices.
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by keeping track and rotating stock.
• Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment.
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
• Respond to guest feedback with urgency and professionalism.

• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
