Job summary

Hog Molly Brewing Company is seeking a Cook to support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires preparing and cooking food, stocking the kitchen, and ensuring quality service for guests. Candidates should have at least one year in a commercial kitchen, strong teamwork, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least one year of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Excellent communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and active listening skills.
• Flexibility and readiness to learn all aspects of working in the kitchen.
• Exceptional time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Reads food orders or receives verbal instructions on food required by guests, and prepares and cooks food according to instructions
• Prepares and cooks to order foods requiring short preparation time
• Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times
• Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and grilling appetizers, flatbreads, grilled sandwiches, salads, and more
• Prepares foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting, trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish
• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment and must follow all company and regulatory rules and procedures
