Job summary

VetRamp, a fast-growing security integration firm, seeks an experienced Chief Operating Officer to shape its next chapter. Based in Belton, TX, this role is highly visible and hands-on, blending strategic oversight with day-to-day execution in a company poised for rapid growth through acquisitions.

The successful candidate will drive operations, build and scale cross-functional teams, lead during mergers and post-integration activities, and implement systems that sustain quality while expanding

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in operational leadership, including 3+ years in the security integration industry.
• Experience with mergers or acquisitions (pre- or post-integration).
• Proven record of scaling operations in a fast-paced, field-service or construction-related environment.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to instill accountability and performance.
• Must be able to work full-time onsite in Belton, TX.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, backlog, resourcing, and KPIs — ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
• Lead, mentor, and scale cross-functional teams across project management, installation, and service.
• Provide operational leadership during mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence to integration.
• Implement systems, SOPs, and processes that support rapid growth without compromising quality.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to align operations with long-term strategy.
