Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to sustain and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment within a warehouse environment. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and close collaboration with Operations to ensure uptime.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, practical knowledge of bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxes, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of industrial maintenance or equivalent experience.
• Experience with conveyor systems: bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to document work electronically.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Document maintenance findings and report to leadership.
• Support installation and modification of conveyors and equipment.
