Job summary

The Maintenance Mechanic role at Performance Team is to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment within a warehouse and distribution setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyors and industrial equipment, can independently troubleshoot and repair, and collaborates with Operations and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in industrial maintenance
• Experience with conveyor systems: bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes
• Able to safely use hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills to document work
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting
• Able to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical components: bearings, belts and chains, motors and gearboxes.
• Assist with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule; inspect wear and alignment.
• Document maintenance findings and labor hours.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and LOTO procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and tools.
