Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment within our warehouse and distribution environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility systems to ensure uptime and safety.

The ideal candidate has hands-on conveyor experience, can work independently, and collaborates with Operations and maintenance teams to drive reliability.

Qualifications

1-3 years industrial maintenance or related experience.
Experience with conveyor systems.
CMMS experience (SAP, Maximo, Fiix or similar).
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Document maintenance findings and report to maintenance leadership.
Perform preventive maintenance per schedules and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in maintenance areas.
