Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Conveyor Technician to support the maintenance team in keeping all powered conveyor systems safe, reliable, and efficient in the distribution center.

You will troubleshoot, clear jams, perform diagnostics, and conduct preventative maintenance from drawings and schematics while documenting repairs in the maintenance database. Responsibilities include working 6AM-6PM Fri-Sun with overtime as needed, and potential to assist in other areas.

Qualifications

• Conveyor Maintenance experience
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose conveyor systems.
• Ability to read electrical prints is a plus.
• Ability to follow mechanical drawings and parts breakdowns.
• Document repairs and parts used in maintenance database.
• Clear jams and determine root causes of high jam areas.
• Familiar with lock out tag out procedures.
• Comfortable with heights of 30'+.

Responsibilities

• Fri-Sun, 6AM-6PM.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.
• Willing to come in early or stay late to complete repairs.
• Must be able to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• On occasion, work in other areas such as building maintenance, lift equipment, or grounds.
