Job summary
Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Conveyor Technician to support the maintenance team in its distribution center.
You will troubleshoot, clear jams, perform preventive maintenance, and document repairs using the maintenance database while following safety practices and electrical/mechanical drawings. You will work Fri-Sun 6AM-6PM, with overtime and flexible hours as needed; candidates should be comfortable with high work areas, 120v/24VDC circuits, 120/480v motors, VFDs, and lockout/tagout
Qualifications
- Conveyor maintenance experience and knowledge of powered conveyors.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform diagnostic checks on conveyors.
- Ability to read electrical prints is a plus.
- Ability to follow mechanical drawings and parts breakdowns.
- Document repairs, parts used, and task times in maintenance database.
Responsibilities
- Fri-Sun, 6AM-6PM.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.
- Willing to come in early or stay late to complete repairs.
- Must work under pressure with a positive attitude.
- Occasionally work in other areas such as building maintenance, lift equipment, and grounds.
