Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Conveyor Technician to support the maintenance team in ensuring safe, reliable operation of all conveyor systems within the distribution center.

The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, clearing jams, diagnostic checks, and preventative maintenance while working from mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. You will document repairs and parts usage in the maintenance database and help identify root causes of recurring issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of powered conveyor systems and associated equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose conveyor issues.
• Able to read electrical prints and follow mechanical drawings/parts breakdowns.
• Experience with lockout/tagout procedures and PPE standards.
• Welding or machining experience is a plus.
• Comfort working at heights and around moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fri-Sun, 6AM-6PM.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.
• Willing to come in early or stay late to complete repairs.
• Must work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Occasionally support other areas such as building maintenance or grounds.
