Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking a Conveyor Technician to support the maintenance team in keeping all powered conveyor systems safe and efficient in the distribution center.

The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, jam clearing, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Responsibilities include documenting repairs in the maintenance database, applying lockout/tagout practices, and supporting root-cause analysis while working with

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of powered conveyor systems and related equipment.
• Ability to read electrical prints and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with lockout/tagout and PPE standards.
• Familiarity with Rapistan/Dematic or SDI conveyors is a plus.
• Welding or machining experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, reliable operation of conveyor systems across the distribution center.
• Troubleshoot jams, perform diagnostics and complete preventative maintenance.
• Document repairs, parts usage, and task times in the maintenance system.
• Read drawings and identify root causes; assist in corrective actions.
• Work with 120V/24VDC circuits, 120/480V motors, and VFDs; climb and work at height.
• Be willing to OT, adjust hours, and support other areas as needed.
