Job summary
Maersk Warehousing & Distribution Services USA LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic to join our warehouse maintenance team in Hopedale, MA. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of conveyor systems and material handling equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical skills, able to read schematics and diagnose complex failures, and work independently on a variety of industrial
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in warehouse/distribution or automated material handling.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyors and related equipment.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals.
- Experience with electrical controls and VFDs; familiarity with PLCs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems on material handling equipment.
- Maintain and repair conveyor systems, sortation equipment, motors, bearings, belts, chains, and rollers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to identify wear and improve reliability.
- Read electrical schematics and diagnose control systems; escalate PLC issues as needed.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of equipment and participate in root cause analysis.
