Job summary

Maersk is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to support our warehouse and distribution operations. You will maintain and repair conveyor systems and material handling equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document work.

This role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, mechanical troubleshooting, and a solid safety mindset. The position involves coordinating with Operations and Maintenance teams, lifting up to 50 pounds, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
• Experience working with conveyor systems: Bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes; basic pneumatics/hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedules; inspect wear, lubrification, and alignments.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment and facility systems.
• Maintain maintenance records, parts usage, and labor hours; report issues to leadership.
• Follow OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, machine guarding, PPE, and safety procedures.
