Job summary

Maersk, through Performance Team, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse setting. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyors and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, facilities, or related maintenance experience.
• Experience working with conveyor systems: bearings, belts, chains, motors and gearboxes.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules and procedures.
• Document maintenance findings and report equipment concerns to leadership.
• Support installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment.
