Job summary

Motion Industries’ MI Conveyance Solutions is seeking Field Service Technicians II to deliver high-level mechanical service for conveyor systems at customer sites. You will install, repair and maintain belts and related equipment, ensuring uptime and safety.

The role requires a technical degree with 0–3 years of related experience; MSHA certification is preferred. You will read blueprints, operate lifts, and perform rigging and basic millwright tasks while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required.
• 0–3 years of related experience.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• 1+ year belt-line experience in mining/aggregate preferred.
• Forklift/telehandler certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventative maintenance.
• Repairs heavyweight conveyor belts using rubber repair and splices.
• Sets up, tears down, and maintains support structures.
• Greases and changes rollers as needed.
• Installs and repairs motors, gears, pulleys, and control panels.
• Operates telehandlers, forklifts, and/or manlifts.
• Loads and unloads equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine procedures.
• Provides frontline customer service and directs inquiries appropriately.
• Performs rigging for lifting belt rolls and tooling.
