Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking Field Service Technicians for MI Conveyance Solutions in Grand Prairie, TX. You will perform on-site belt installation, splicing, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, and shop-based fabrication of belts.

You’ll diagnose equipment, document findings, and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction. Requirements include a technical degree and 0–3 years of related experience; ability to read measuring equipment, perform basic math, operate shop equipment

Qualifications

Typically requires a technical degree and 0–3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
Ability to read measuring equipment and perform basic math calculations.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
Ability to operate manlifts, forklifts and hand tools safely.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

Performs on-site belt installation, splicing, preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
Fabricate belts in shop and perform rigging to move belt rolls and tooling.
Diagnose problems, document findings and recommend repairs or parts replacement.
Provide technical support and training to customers and communicate with stakeholders.
