Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is seeking a Convention Services Setup team member to assist with setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, linens, and related equipment for meetings, banquets, and resort activities. Basic audio-visual skills are helpful and teamwork is essential.

Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid driver's license. You should be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 pounds as needed, with a strong focus on accuracy and

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail; team experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift 25 lbs; frequently lift 50 lbs; occasionally 100 lbs.
• Team-oriented and focused on success.

Responsibilities

• Setting up meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linen, etc.).
• Ensuring cleanliness and superior condition of all meeting/banquet rooms, including windows and baseboards.
• Maintaining cleanliness of loading dock and surrounding Civic Center areas (Village Lane, tunnel stairs).
• Setting up movie nights and other events as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Convention Services Setup teams typical job functions include:

• Setting up of meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linen, etc.)


• Ensuring cleanliness and superior condition of all meeting and banquet rooms, including windows, baseboards, etc.


• Ensuring cleanliness of loading dock, and surrounding Civic Center area, including Village Lane, and stairway area to tunnel


• Setting up movie nights and other events as assigned

Qualifications
