Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle daily work orders and service calls, ensuring the upkeep of resort structures and facilities.

The role includes pool care, HVAC changes, guest room maintenance, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance, with opportunities to assist in snow removal and infrastructure tasks. Requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical.
• Experience with inventory software or order processing is helpful.
• Own basic hand tools; company provides specialty tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily work orders and service calls.
• Conduct pool care and maintenance; test boiler room water chemistry and maintain water softeners.
• Perform air conditioning and heat changeovers.
• Care for guest rooms and maintenance of facilities.
• Repair and maintain food service equipment.
• Review and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
• Assist in snow removal and general infrastructure maintenance.
• Maintain accurate time and material repair records.
• Use a company vehicle to pick up supplies and parts as needed.

Overview

As a Maintenance Technician you are responsible for completing daily work orders and service calls, and maintaining an accurate log of routine and preventative maintenance performed on Boyne Mountain Resort structures.

Responsibilities

• Performing pool care and maintenance; boiler room water chemical testing and water softener care and maintenance
• Conducting air conditioning and heat change over
• Completing guest room care and maintenance
• Performing food service equipment repair and maintenance
• Reviewing and performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Assisting in snow removal
• Performing infrastructure maintenance; water system inspection and maintenance
• Maintaining accurate time and material repair billing records
• Utilizing a motor vehicle to pick up supplies, parts and other materials as necessary

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old
• Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
• You possess a working knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry and electrical
• Youhave a knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems is helpful
• You areresponsible for yourown basic hand tools; Boyne Mountainwill supply any specialty tools and equipment
• You are able to crouch, bend, stand and/or sit in one position for prolonged periods of time
