Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an experienced Convention Services professional to plan and manage hotel events from pre-event through post-event, coordinating with sales, catering, and hotel departments. You will upsell enhancements to maximize revenue and ensure seamless turnover across stages.

Responsibilities include overseeing group room blocks, budgeting, and delivering high-quality service while resolving issues and maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel catering and rooms experience.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
• Proven leadership and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, upsell and detail the program with the client including verification and modification of space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations, etc.
• Manage group room blocks and meeting space for assigned groups.
• Oversee event execution from pre-event to post-event; liaison with hotel and customer.
• Monitor budgets and ensure quality delivery.
• Lead pre-event and post-event meetings.
