Job summary

Hulsing Hotels is seeking a Convention Services Manager to own post-contract group event execution, detailing, and on-site management. You will act as the primary hotel contact for each group, coordinating function space, room blocks, F&B, A/V, VIP needs, and vendor requirements.

You will prepare BEOs and group resumes, manage billing and attrition, and ensure flawless communication across Front Desk, Housekeeping, Banquets, and Accounting with a calm, solution-focused approach under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2–3 years of hotel convention services, catering, or group event management experience.
• Experience preparing BEOs and group resumes, managing room blocks and billing.
• Familiarity with catering/group management systems and PMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned group accounts post-contract through planning and on-site execution.
• Lead pre-planning calls to confirm room blocks, F&B, A/V, VIP needs, and vendor requirements.
• Explain contract terms, attrition clauses, F&B minimums, and cutoffs; monitor pickup.
• Prepare and distribute BEOs and group resumes to departments; manage change sheets.
• Maintain group files in the catering management system and attend relevant meetings.
• Be on-site during arrival, program, and departure; resolve issues in real time.
• Coordinate complex room assignments and VIP amenities with Front Desk and Housekeeping.
• Prepare and reconcile final group billing and review master bill with clients.
