Job summary

Embassy Suites Gulf Shores seeks a Convention Services Manager to act as the primary liaison for groups and convention clients, ensuring seamless planning and execution of all event details on-site. This role coordinates meeting logistics, room setups, catering menus, AV needs, accommodations, and special requests.

You will partner with clients and hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing room blocks, F&B sales, and overall profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of Convention Services Coordinator or relevant experience required.
• Sales/Brand systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate meeting and event logistics, including room setups and catering.
• Coordinate audiovisual, accommodations, and special requests.
• Work with hotel departments to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Log client communications and attend weekly Revenue Management, Sales and Group Pickup Meetings.
• Upsell opportunities with clients and conduct site inspections.
