Job summary

Embassy Suites Gulf Shores seeks a Convention Services Manager to act as the primary liaison for groups and convention clients after the sales process, ensuring seamless planning and execution of all event details. You will coordinate meeting and event logistics, including room setups, catering menus, audiovisual requirements, accommodations, and special requests.

The role partners with clients and hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing meeting space

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of Convention Services Coordinator or relevant experience required.
• Sales/Brand systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate group room blocks, catering, AV, and event details.
• Log and maintain all client communications.
• Attend the weekly Revenue Management, Sales and Group Pickup Meetings.
• Work with Sales Managers to ensure client satisfaction.
• Upsell clients and conduct hotel site inspections.
