Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician in Swedesboro, NJ to maintain and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed lines. You will lead troubleshooting, train Electro-Mechanics across shifts, and oversee maintenance for PLCs, drives and networks.

The role requires a high school diploma with extensive controls experience; familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens and Mitsubishi software is a must.

Qualifications

• Industrial controls or electrical maintenance experience required.
• Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and manuals.
• Proficiency with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Mitsubishi software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work varying shifts.
• Experience in food, bakery, or continuous-process manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls issues.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks.
• Support plant utility systems and ensure GMP, safety and quality standards.
